Police Visit

Our local Police officers visited the school to meet the children and explain their role in the community.
The children held some of the equipment such as the handcuffs and their baton. They were allowed to sit in the police car and try on Police jackets and helmets.
 
The children asked the officers some very interesting questions:

The police give them the help they need as they have a duty of care.

Each police officer is given a number when they join the force that identifies them.
